MicrophoneThe level of support I have received over the past 12 months has been exceptional and heartening. As well as friends and family, the project has been well received by media professionals in the North East of England and I still get words of encouragement from Jesse Johnson, Mike Leeder and Mark Strange who is a great friend of the project.

When I met Mark at the premiere of Displaced, he advised me to always add production value wherever possible. A few months ago I came up with the idea of including narration in Japanese to add authenticity and interest to Land of the Kami.

I am now fortunate to have 2 narrators who would like to support the project. My cousin Laurent agreed to help and his girlfriend Ella will provide the voice-over for the intro to the movie, they both live in Japan so it should help! The main narration will be done by a Japanese lady with the help of her friend and they both live in Sunderland, I am meeting them on Sunday the 21st of October and I am really looking forward to it.

With their wonderful assistance Land of the Kami is going to move on a few steps in terms of giving the audience an interesting visual and aural experience. I feel very lucky indeed.

Until next time…
